Every day, across our country, horses once full of life and spirit are abandoned, starved, or left to suffer after years of loyal service. At Living for a Cause, we believe these magnificent animals deserve far better. That’s why we created the Hay for Horses Program — a lifeline for horses rescued from abuse, neglect and ensures they are never hungry or forgotten again.
Several of these horses have been specially trained as therapy partners, helping people build confidence while providing love and peace and support. This is about compassion — about restoring trust and peace to animals who have endured far too much. Your donation becomes their voice and their second chance.
These donations will help ensure that abused and neglected horses living on rescue horse farms will have a monthly donation to help feed them. Time is critical — the feed bills never stop, and neither will we. Thank you for caring, for believing, and for acting.
In Loving Memory of Kaleigh
Kaleigh devoted her life to the grace and power of horses, and to the joy of sharing that passion with others.
She spent her days not only training horses but also guiding young riders—often saying she was "teaching small children with big dreams." Her spirit was as strong as it was kind.

After a serious accident left her with three broken vertebrae in her neck, it was Kaleigh's unshakable love for horses and her deep determination that carried her through recovery and back into the saddle. That strength defined her—resilient, compassionate, and full of heart.

Though she has now passed into the light of love, her legacy lives on. In her honor, we proudly dedicate our Hay for Horses Program to Kaleigh—a symbol of her unwavering spirit and the dreams she helped others chase.
